For the second year running, the SEBOT Working Group on Systematics and Evolution is organising the Spanish Flora Biomaratón; this year, we are joining forces with our Portuguese colleagues to organise the 1st Ibero-Macaronesian Flora Biomaratón.
This citizen science event will take place from 20 to 22 May 2022, coinciding with the week of International Fascination with Plants Day. During this time, anyone wishing to take part can do so simply by uploading as many photos of wild plants as possible to the iNaturalist platform, from anywhere in the country. In addition, numerous organisations will be organising activities or walks designed to encourage participation in the project and to provide learning opportunities for all participants, led by botanical experts.
